Sean Nahas. Something has to give. The team is barely generating any offense on the road. Either develop these forwards as strikers or tell them that you guys are going to acquire some fire power. You have given these guys so many chances to step up and solidify themselves as the number 1 forward but there's too many inconsistencies

I agree with you three before me, you all got good points there! Coach Nahas, sorry you guys didn’t win today. We continue to support NC COURAGE!!! Let me contribute my 2 pennies opinion about this game. NCC offense: Houston got adequate defense that gave your ladies hard time to get closer for easier to scoring. However, according to the NWSL highlights, I believe there were many opportunities if your girls chose to or have a vision to see that there were teammates that they can pass the ball for more lethal chances to score, but, many chose to shoot it by themselves from outer distance, and of course, non lethal, weak, sky high and easy caught ! Your defense: I saw your girls did have enough players for defense, but, they did not do good job guarding the attackers. Instead of pressing the attackers, they lineup together as if preventing the ball flying after the shot rather than stopping the kick in the first place. So that kind of schemes were not helping your girls any good opportunity to score AT ALL!!! Please teach them ALL INDIVIDUAL SKILLS OF SOCCER THERE ARE , they need them to play better to WIN!!! We support the NC Courage and want our teams to play better. Yes, competition is a lot tougher because EVERYONE, every team wants to win. Please be upbeat, optimistic and high hope. Train harder. I agree with this take on supporting. If you are only there to celebrate wins, then you are not a supporter. The players need us most when they have these challenging games and it doesn't help to have supporters switch off because they can't celebrate a win. We need to get behind them even more the next home game against Orlando.

Some serious questions need to be asked of Nahas.

I am frustrated on behalf of the players and staff. Losing on the road can become a self fulfilling prophecy. Let's see how they shake this off and move forward.

Your comment about support is spot on. The whiners are quick to hit the comments sections with their complaining after a loss, the least they can do is come back to celebrate the victories. Support does not require one to be obsequious, but some praise is necessary when warranted.

A couple of tough games, but I trust the system, and trust Sean and the staff. Nothing good is easy.

Sean Nahas. I think you are a wonderful manager but i hope you don't become Mark Parson with a blindsided firing. The system that you have employed is aesthetic pleasing to watch but if you don't have the right technical and tough players to combat the pressure and physicality of the league, you will continue to lose games. You may have to tweak the systems until you acquire better technical players. We hope NC courage does well this season but something has to change. You guys struggle at progressing the ball with pressure and i think you guys need at least two more creators on the ball alongside Sanchez.

Most teams have are number. Pressure the backline and play physical throughout the game. They bullied us once they realize that Sanchez, the engine of our team, can spark our offense to score. No one else can create or score on their own. Time to scrape the midfield and Frontline. Figure out who can play in tight spaces and are comfortable passing the ball. Other teams make adjustments like Washington Spirit when certain systems are not working. If we lose another game, Nahas may be out of a job!

Ashley Sanchez was the only one taking shots and trying to make something happen 💯

This loss was difficult to swallow. With the hectic schedule and lack of training, the team as whole did not look in sync but there's a glaring level of soccer i see at display that will need to be improved if NC plans to win the league. Learning how to play against pressure and at a larger pitch is critical for improvement. In addition, i hope these players can develop and improve because i see about two or three players playing at a different level while the others are not quite there yet. I really hope those players improve or Nahas will be forced to pickup some players at the second international window

This schedule has been inane. There really is no excuse for it. The league needs to be more concerned about their players, or they will have no product to earn that profit they are clearly chasing.

Sean Nahas, If the team is still unable to develop a consistent and dynamic striker by August, I implore you to go out and sign Alayah Pilgrim on Loan from Roma. She's fast but also very technical and can play in tight spaces. She has an amazing touch and Sanchez would love a smart player around her who's instinctive. In addition, you guys nab another center-back who's very fast and comfortable on the ball.

Hi coach Nahas, sorry for the loss today. I know it’s hard to talk anything about this game today. Please be upbeat and look at different angles. Watch the film, analyze, point out the mistakes, the goods, the potential and instruct, advise and new plans to practice. Like you’ve said, I agree the defense needs more work. Before Banda dribbling and score that goal, N C ladies did come back to defend ( 9 ladies I count), but when Banda moves the ball, I thought defenders should be more active ganging up on her and others should cover the goal, all to prevent her from scoring. The field is more crowded and everybody has been stepping up to challenge others to win. So the job is tougher EVERY YEAR for everyone in this sport. Be energetic, be open up, be positive and putting some humor, smiling in your game/ your job coach Nahas. You seem little moody, little upset… but hopefully not too long… the team needs your back bone steadfast support. We know you can do it and will turn the team to winning again.
